Why Add a USB Display Adapter?

Why do we need to add a USB multi display adapter to our laptops/PCs? It will bring us not-so-basic feelings. Adding a quality DVI or HDMI high resolution display adapter through your USB port used to be science fiction. With onboard audio and video processor, it is really an external video card you attach to your computer with a USB cable.

It used to be that you could add a display via a USB port, but the refresh rate and video quality was lacking. Give a lark to catch a kite. With a USB to VGA DVI HDMI display adapter, you can add either a DVI or HDMI display that acts like a screen connected to a video card. It operates at a high resolution of 1600 x 1080. Really Cool!

Now, espow offers various USB to DVI/HDMI/VGA to Video Display Adapter which will enable you to add an additional HDMI, DVI, or VGA display with up to 1680x1080 resolution. The device enables you to expand the display capabilities of desktop and laptop computers that offer only one built-in display/video-out port while eliminating the cost and hassle of installing a video card into the computer. Windows-powered computers support up to six adapters, while Macs can host up to four. Additionally, you can buy the USB 2.0 display adapter for only $40.99 each.

USB to DVI/HDMI/VGA adapters have become more and more popular lately so I-O data has decided to drop another one. The USB to DVI adapter works well with Vista’s Aero Glass interface. The only downside to this one is that it’s not compatible with Open GL or HDCP.
